The inaugural Police National Adventure Racing Championships took place within the 999 Eco Adventure Race on Saturday 10th September 2011 in Llangors, Brecon Beacons, South Wales.
The race followed the same format as the 999 Eco Adventure with the same 3 categories; fun, intermediate and advanced. All police teams who entered the 999 Eco Adventure were automatically entered into the championships.
The prize winners were as follows:
PSUK Fun Winners The Fun Race was won by team "Dorset Dawdlers" from Dorset Police. Congratulations to Kate Baldwin & Paddy Jones who also finished runners up in the whole event. For a full list of results from the fun race click here.
PSUK Intermediate Winners The Intermediate Race was won by team "Average Joes" from Sussex Police. Congratulations to Mark Baker & Ed Mitchell who were also the overall winners of the event for the second year running. For a full list of results from the intermediate race click here.
PSUK Mixed Advanced Winners The Advanced Mixed Category was won by team "In For A Laff" from Metropolitan Police. Congratulations to Richard Jackson, Jo Ravenhill, George Dunn & Tom Abounader. For a full list of results from the advanced race click here.
PSUK Advanced Winners
The Advanced Race outright winners were team "No Country For Old Men" also from Metropolitan Police. Congratulations to Paul McCarty & Mark Jagger who also finished in 3rd place in the advanced pairs category. For a full list of results from the advanced race click here.
